You will work closely with our Corporate Sustainable Agriculture and ESG departments, as well as our Zone Sustainability Management to ensure Procurement alignment with the Group Strategy. You collaborate with the Procurement Category Managers and our Sustainability Acceleration Team in ensuring Regenerative Agriculture projects are developed with our suppliers. These projects will drive resilience improvements, brand valorization, and support our targets on Climate and Regenerative Agriculture. Join us and Be a Force for Good.A day in the life of a Procurement Regenerative Agriculture Manager:Lead Regenerative Agriculture for Nestlé Global Procurement – provide strategic direction & drive capability building:

  • Oversee RegenAg project delivery together with suppliers, procurement managers, Sustainability Acceleration Team and Nestle’s agronomists/technical advisors.
  • Partner with Corporate & Procurement Senior Stakeholders to define the most efficient ways of working and processes for an effective oversight of Regenerative Agriculture projects & pathways.
  • Guide our Sustainability Acceleration Team in supporting the delivery of projects contributing to Regenerative Agriculture.
  • Explore pathways that allow our projects to accelerate their Regenerative Agricultural deliverables to support our Decarbonization, Resilience & Brand Valorization journey.
  • Act as first escalation point for Regenerative Agriculture projects to Procurement Stakeholders.
  • Ensure project progress and milestones with suppliers through different KPIs (e.g. RegenAg KPI, SAI Platform RTF…) and reporting systems (Service Now / PowerBIs).
  • Ensure compliance to Nestlé’s Corporate Business Principles & Standards, and provide insight in the development of Regenerative Agriculture guidances to Corporate functions.

What will make you successful

  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Agronomy or Environmental Sciences. Agronomy / Sustainability experience is a strong plus. Commercial/Procurement acumen another.
  • Knowing how to navigate a complex matrix of different stakeholders at Local level as well as corporate level.
  • Ensuring effective stakeholder management, converging different interests, and managing corporate targets whilst balancing budget requirements.
  • Well established and proven experience in a global role ideally related to Procurement/Sustainability/Agronomy.
  • Previous team management experience, or equivalent experiences highlighting strong leadership / coordination capabilities within a team.
  • Ability to work in an international, complex, ambiguous environment.
  • At ease with different IT systems (ServiceNow, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi).
  • Understand business objectives and ensure alignment with your work
  • Initiative and Capability to deal with ambiguity. Proven experience on building processes and ways of working from scratch.
  • Communication skills towards external (Suppliers) and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong Project Management skills and result focus mindset.
  • Fluent in English, another language will be an asset.
