And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Trainee to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term basis. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their finance career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in FP&A. As an FP&A Analyst, you will support the team in various financial tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also contribute to analyzing business performance and providing insights that support strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance metrics.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the FP&A team in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering data, updating financial models, and analyzing key assumptions.
- Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, including presentations and dashboards.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and research to support business initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to financial processes and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with divisions and functions to gather necessary financial information and provide support where needed.
- Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
- Previous internship or experience in finance, accounting, or related field is a plus, but not required.
