We are looking for a Mechanical Design Technician to provide critical administrative and technical support to our engineering team to keep them most efficient in their work. In this role, you will be embedded in an international research and development team to provide administrative and technical support to engineers in tasks such as documentation, data collection, project coordination and maintenance efforts. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the creation of product variants and assist in process improvement projects.Your tasks

Create and maintain product-related metadata, technical documentation, part numbers, and technical datasheets
Design labels for pad printing and type labels
Create overviews and visualizations of product variants
Support process improvements and post-launch engineering activities
Generate design documents and assist with reliability testing of components and assemblies
Contribute to R&D processes, including planning, reviewing, and refining product increments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary agile teams and participate in team rituals
Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to R&D knowledge-sharing

Your profile

Completed apprenticeship in mechanical design respectively in another technical field and/or a diploma in a related field of study
Experience in an R&D role with exposure to databases and technical documentation requirements; familiarity with medical device regulations is an advantage
Self-motivated, proactive, with a strong focus on quality and results and able to navigate in complex situations
Excellent team player with an inclusive mindset and strong communication skills
Fluent in both written and spoken English and German
Experience in simulation tools such as FEM and Moldflow, and experience with visualization tools like SolidWorks Composer, Adobe Illustrator, or Rhino as a huge plus
