Join us.Director, Hotel Market AnalyticsIntroduction to teamThe Traveler Business Team has a mission to deliver the most convenient, rewarding, and memorable ways for people to travel and explore the world. This division has responsibility to build and drive the growth of our global consumer business across our Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and Portfolio brands, and across all our lines of businesses including Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Air, Car, Packages, and Insurtech.This team focuses on Hotel Regional Analytics and Strategic Initiatives Analysis. They support the Hotel Market Partnership (HMP) Leadership Team by analyzing business trends, deriving insights, and using facts to guide key strategic and operational decisions. By leveraging data coming from demand trends, supply quality and sales operations, the team develops analysis and reporting, advising leaders on how to optimize their operations and maximize impact for our travelers and hotel partners.In this role you will:Align data insights into overarching organizational strategies, shaping business objectives and fostering innovation.Drive agenda/work/priorities on all aspects of Hotel Market analytics activitiesEnd-to-end ownership of projects/analysis leveraging multiple teams’ inputs and data to guide key actions across the organizationLead a team of 14 people including 2 Sr. Managers, focused on (1) Hotel Regional Analytics and (2) Strategic Initiatives AnalyticsAct as Business Partner to the Hotel Market Partnership Senior VP and the rest of the LT through stellar business acumen and strong ability to convert best-in-class analysis into actionable insightsWork closely and efficiently with other partnering teams across Analytics, Product, Brands, Strategy, Finance, etc.Collaborates with Data Engineering and Product Management teams to drive implementation and adoption of best practices across the EG data community.Experience and qualifications:You hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Science, Statistics or a similar Technical field.
