The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GMP and non-GMP environments, with a strong background in preparative chromatography and other downstream processing techniques. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:Execute downstream processing operations in both GMP and non-GMP settings.Develop preparative chromatographic techniques such as reversed phase and ion exchange and apply these to the purification of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).Document manufacturing processes in accordance with GMP requirements.Coordinate activities related to GMP downstream purification and isolation with other groups such as analytical, warehousing, and quality assurance teams.Maintenance and cleaning of equipment in compliance with GMP standards.Contribute to inventory management and the ordering of materials.Who you areYou thrive in a dynamic, inclusive environment which gives you full accountability for your own contributions and development. As a purification expert, you will support GMP and non-GMP productions of a variety of oligonucleotide and peptide therapeutics from the Roche portfolio. In addition you bring:Bachelor/Master degree with at least 3 years of experience or Apprenticeship with at least 5 years of experience in the fieldStrong technical expertise and experience in preparative downstream processing of oligonucleotides, peptides, or biologics by using ion exchange and/or reversed phase preparative chromatography systemsExperience in working in a GMP pilot plant environment for low bioburden APIsDigital proficiency and familiarity with software solutions for preparative and analytical chromatography systemsExperience in working in controlled areas (e.g., cleanroom, AtEx) is advantageousKnowledge of SAP or willingness to learn and become acquainted with SAP-based applicationsProficient in both English and GermanOur commitmentRoche commits to recognising talent and aptitude.
