Senior System Engineer – Bern – German Speaking – 120CHFA leading provider of integrated services for the elderly, who offer both outpatient and inpatient care across Switzerland are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their growing team!The company have a genuine focus on innovation and service quality – this is a crucial role for their team as they need a Senior System Engineer to support and further develop their IT infrastructure.Key responsibilities / day to day activities will be:

  • Support, administration, and enhancement of various system components, including Citrix, VMWare, and DECT telephony
  • Provide 3rd level support and help manage ongoing systems
  • Assist in change management for system technology, including planning and execution of installations
  • Collaborate with external service providers and ensure the fulfilment of SLAs
  • Contribute to operational infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with data security and IT security regulations

Ideal Experience / Background:

  • Completed degree in Business Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with server and network environments, including Citrix, Microsoft Azure, Exchange, and Cisco Meraki
  • Strong familiarity with backup and monitoring systems, and device management tools like HP Device Manager and SCCM
  • Proficiency in Powershell and VBA (additional programming skills are a plus)
  • Good understanding of IT processes and procedures (knowledge of ITIL is a plus)
  • Fluency in German (essential); proficiency in French and English is a plus
