Surface modification of Na cathode materials via gas phase-based process
Cells manufacturing, electrodes and cycling pressure optimization
Electrochemical testing of solid-state batteries (cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic cycling, EIS)
Interface chemical and bulk structural operando characterization, XPS, XRD and XAS, XCT
Publication of results in scientific journals and presentations in the framework of EU project meetings
Supervision of students and support on the Lab equipment and infrastructure

We are looking for a self-motivated team player able to work independently and with prior experience in electrochemstry and battery research. The candidiate must have a PhD degree in chemistry, physics, materials science or in a related field. A good background in battery materials characterization and electrochemical testing is expected. Experience in Na-based battery chemistry and polymer-based battery fabrication is an asset. Familiar with synchrotron techniques is a plus. Very good command of English is required.The experimental work will be carried out at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villigen, within the framework of EU project.Additional InformationBenefitsWe offer
