Job Description
ResponsibilitiesIn this challenge position as part of our ambitious future fuels global project, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation within the marine engine development sector. Your primary responsibility will include, but is not limited to, the testing of our latest prototype design with cutting edge measurement technologies. In addition to these important tasks, we will also be required to satisfy the following:
- Leading performance, components and system tests in our R&D test center in Oberwinterthur
- Preparing test programs in cooperation with stakeholder (internal experts or external partners)
- Evaluation, calibration and installation of test/measurement equipment
- Post-processing and analysis of measurement data and creating test reports towards the stakeholders
- Organisation, maintenace and quality control of required test components and measurement equipment
- Continuous optimisation of operational excellence in regard of processes, methodology, Data acquisition and analysis tools
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline (Marine, Mechatronic, etc.)
- Basic knowledge in internal combustion engines, thermodynamics and data acquisition
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g. AVL Concerto, Matlab, Excel)
- Experience with SPS and measurement technology (AVL Indicom, HBM Quantum X)
- General knowledge of data communication (CAN bus, Modbus)
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Team player with good ability to communicate
- Willingness to support mechanical works
- Fluent in English and German
