Work with a dedicated DevOps Agile team to improve the security of our platforms and services through the technical management and deployment of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will focus on enhancing the capabilities of Microsoft security products, ensuring performance and maintaining high security standards across all endpoints. You will help build and automate our security service using the latest technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the technical integration of our Microsoft Defender for Endpoint service across numerous server systems at Swisscom, contributing to performance improvements
- Work closely with internal teams to help ensure smooth integration and user-friendly implementation of our security solutions
- Assist in implementing Configuration as Code practices to develop an automated configuration workflow

- Educational background in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in managing, deploying and supporting enterprise server farms (Windows or Linux)
- Foundational knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., SCCM) or a strong willingness to develop this skill
- Some experience with a scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for basic API tasks and automation

- Familiarity with essential DevOps tools such as Artifactory, Ansible, Git and JIRA for efficient collaboration and deployment processes
- Relevant internship or project experience in a DevOps or similar role with a strong interest in security topics
