Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor KPIs for monthly reporting, prepare reports for top management, and support decisions in close collaboration with the relevant departments.
  • Monitor and control research and development expenditures of the division and the respective Business Units, providing financial insights and support to the Head of R&D as R&D Business Partner.
  • Oversee and manage the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring they remain within budget and meet financial targets, with a strong focus on project controlling.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels globally, ensuring efficient use of resources and accurate financial reporting.
  • Actively drive further development of Controlling, working closely with our BI team to design modern controlling tools and collaborate on strategic projects across departments.
  • Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the division.
  • Ensure that the companies within the division comply with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and enhance division-wide standardized controlling systems, management processes, and tools.
  • Handle projects and ad hoc requests from the stakeholders, including the preparation of management presentations as a basis for decision-making.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in controlling, finance, or a related area, preferably within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, and proactive in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • IT and data affinity, along with very good MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken), proficiency in German is a plus.
