The bilingual (French and English) campus is home to close to 1,900 students across the Primary, Middle and Secondary Schools. Our unique Universal Learning Programme, co-designed with UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education, seeks to anchor learning in deep conceptual understanding and the assessment of Ecolint’s global competences, to ensure that the outcome of learning makes some positive social impact.To complete our team, we are looking for a:Curriculum Coordinators (2-4 periods of décharge + Level 2)Part-timeRole OverviewWe are seeking individuals who are not only experts in their teaching domain but also deeply passionate about their subject. As a Curriculum Coordinator, you will lead and supervise teams and develop the Curriculum in your domain:
- Literacy (English)
- Literacy (French)
- Numeracy
- Science
- Year 5/6 French Bilingual Programme (FBP)
- Year 5 English Learning Programme (ELP)
- Year 6 English Learning Programme (ELP)
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to the teaching team within your assigned domain.
- Manage and execute the 1214E1 process, which involves evaluating team members and supporting their professional development through structured feedback and guidance.
- Actively contribute to the design, structure, and mapping of the curriculum, ensuring its coherence and alignment with Ecolint’s educational objectives.
- Bring a creative and innovative approach to curriculum development and teaching practices.
- Mentor and support staff to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality teaching practices.
- Monitor and evaluate academic progress, addressing areas for improvement.
- Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of existing assessment systems to effectively track and report on student progress.
- Promote an inclusive, inspiring, and multicultural learning environment.
- Work with the Principal to implement the school’s strategic plan, focusing on academic excellence and innovation.
Candidate requirements
- A degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Proven expertise and experience as a teacher in the subject/Year Level area
- A genuine passion for your domain of teaching, with the drive to inspire others.
- Experience in curriculum design, mapping, and pedagogical structure development is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teaching teams effectively is a plus.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in either French or English. The ability to communicate effectively in the other language is a considerable advantage.
