Learn more atPurpose of the roleYou will be responsible for strategy definition, marketing & sales activities of EMEA Extremities portfolio and total solutions to achieve the business› objectives. Ensures marketing and sales efforts maximize returns on assets while achieving strategic goals. Develop, test and implement different business models, aligned with global strategies, that hold regional and local relevance to ensure success with a focus on critical business priorities, talent, and culture plans to grow the business.What to expect:

  • Define & execute the differentiated EMEA regional strategy, for the portfolio in scope in line with Long Range Plan, that holds regional and local relevance and delivers financial results
  • To represent EMEA needs in product pipeline discussions with global marketing, R&D and SC teams
  • To maintain relationships with the regional KOL’s & Strengthen and build strong relationship with partner companies and societies
  • Successful launch of key NPI’s
  • Partner closely with key markets and support development in the segment in across the region
  • Ensures Health Care Compliance and integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.
  • Contribute to EMEA Orthopaedics Talent agenda
  • Creates and directs communications, research and public relations plans to shape and drive the market environment
  • Build and foster cross functional teams and collaborative & winning culture

QualificationsWho are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 10+ years of leadership experience with continuous & proven track record, incl. deep understanding of orthopaedic P&L
  • Expertise in orthopaedics, Trauma and/or extremities and neighbouring fields (Biomaterial/biologics)
  • Leadership of sizeable, diverse organization with track record of recruiting, developing and retaining talent
  • Interpersonal and business savvy — build relationships and collaborate cross functionally
  • Drive for results — set the pace for the team to deliver stretch initiatives
  • Commercial acumen and ability to develop & drive new business models
  • Market development or value/demand creation through experience with customer and market insights or through experience in marketing or other critical functions (e.g., sales, operations, R&D, finance, business development, etc.)
  • Strategic orientation — develop strategic insight in the business
  • Strong organizational leadership within depth change management experience and the ability to inspire and mobilize a large organization through periods of continuous change and transformation.
