Professional network and route to entry level positionPosition SummaryAs an Environmental Sustainability Intern, you will work across a variety of sustainability topics, drawing on best practices to advance Nestlé’s environmental sustainability reporting process and guidance solutions library. Specifically, you will support the research, reporting, governance, and stakeholder management functions of the Engineering & Environmental team.We offer a dynamic, inclusive, and international working environment with many opportunities across different businesses, functions, and regions. Don’t miss the opportunity to join us and work with different teams in an agile and diverse context.A Day in the Life of an Environmental Sustainability Intern
- Monitor, track, and compile data of key sustainability/environmental metrics, including energy, water, waste, and greenhouse gas emissions, for internal and external reporting purposes
- Manage the delivery of best practice environmental performance reports
- Review technical guidance to ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Analyze emerging frameworks and propose their inclusion in the reporting program
- Conduct gap analysis between the current year’s and previous year’s performance, as well as competitive peer analyses
- Research and brainstorm creative ideas for improving performance
- Manage the environmental reporting system and handle selected administrative tasks
- Provide analytical and technical support to implement reference energy usage values in the current energy monitoring and management system, collaborating with process experts
- Contribute to the review and refresh of the portfolio of best practices and guidance utilized by markets and factories to enhance environmental performance
- Offer analytical and technical support to the Engineering & Environmental Team as needed
What will make you successful
- Degree in engineering or environmental science is preferred for this internship
- Excellent analytical, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Desire to learn quickly and consistently deliver high-quality work
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in the field of sustainability
- Proficiency in using MS Office, as well as data management approaches
- Good knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate
- Fluent in English
