As a working student within Group Investment Management, you will have the role of an investment analyst and support Pensions Investment Management in the analysis and implementation of investment strategies for Zurich’s pension plans globally.You will be introduced to a broad spectrum of topics while working on several priorities in close collaboration with many team members in a truly international environment.What you will doSupport financial modelling of investment proposalsOngoing monitoring of asset data completeness and qualityConduct analysis covering all major asset classesPrepare and update investment reports and presentationsSupport the team on various projectsWhat you bringCurrently in a Master’s study, ideally in finance or economicsA passion for financial markets and investmentsCompletion of at least two years of study in Economics or in a numerical/quantitative disciplineBasic understanding of financial theory, its applications and the roles of the key players in financial marketsInterest and awareness of current trends and recent events in financial marketsProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is requiredKnowledge of programming languages (Python and/or R) is an advantageFlexibility, proactivity and good communicationExcellent English language written and verbal skills essential, German would be an advantage, as well as any other languageYou must be enrolled at university throughout the duration of the contractYou must be located in Switzerland and close to Zurich for the whole duration of the contractAdditional InformationWe look forward to receiving your online application.Zurich wants to attract the best talent and we acknowledge that talents might not always be available full-time.
