We look forward to meeting you!Your missionAs a Solution Architect Electronics and EEE Dseign role within Thales Alenia Space, you will:Be responsible for working out, stabilizing & maintaining the Solution architecture for Bids and Projects all along lifecycle incld. design & execution of PCBResponsible for product development as Electrical Architect within the TAS CH systems engineering organizationLead the architecture and requirements definition throughout the project life cycle and within the agreed programmatic boundary conditions (cost and schedule):Analysis of customer and stakeholder requirementsDefine the development and verification logicDefinition of interfaces and requirements for external partnerso Definition, analysis and trade-off of system concepts in multi-disciplinary teamsDefinition of power conversion, control and data architectureSetting up / flow-down budgets (mass, power, accuracy, TM/TC, etc. )Risk managementPreparation of key project documentation (e.g. development plans, design description and justification reports, interface control documents)Verification control throughout the projectDocumentation of the activities and results of the system configuration and Support Action Item managementParticipation in the preparation of offers for new projectsPerform presentations and reviews internally and externallyTechnical contact with internal and external agencies and customers with the projectExtended responsibilities – Design printed circuit boards, establish schematics and layout of circuit card assembly. Design and verify by review, analysis and test the conceptual and detailed development of electronics boards for space application and for electrical ground support equipment.We look forward to that7+ years’ experience in Electrical Product developmentDegree in Electrical EngineeringTechnical and behavioral skillsGood knowledge of eCAD design tools like Siemens EDA XpeditionKnowledge of Monte-carlo/circuit simulation tools (OrCAD PSpice)Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering is an advantageKnowledge of state-of-the-art Requirements Management tools (DOORS)Knowledge of electronics circuit design and simulation (Pspice, LTSpice, Matlab/Simulink, Modelica etc.)Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English, German is an advantagePronounced self-motivation and commitment in connection with a strong sense of responsibility and reliabilityCommunication skills and proven experience in workingExperience in Systems Engineering, architecting and problem solving is compulsoryExperience in product development throughout product life cycle is compulsoryDeep and wide theoretical and practical experience in the development of electronics hardware (minimum 5 years industry experience)Experience in PCB/CCA design (schematics entry and layout) for various applications like control boards, power boards, communication electronicsExperience with RF design is an advantage•Experience in space or aviation is an advantageExperience in Embedded Software/VHDL is an advantageExperience in Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) is an advantageWhat awaits you at our location in ZurichFor our 77,000 employees in 68 countries, we open up forward-looking perspectives, realize individual career paths and enable creative freedom.
