With us you have the opportunity to contribute your personality in an inspiring and creative working environment – become part of our Akris team: Together, we create!We are searching for aProduct Developer (f/m/d)for Akris women’s ready-to-wear jackets, leather, and outdoor collections. This role is part of the design team, working closely with the pattern team to create collections and prepare them for production.You will contribute to product development, from creating technical sheets for the sample collection to the handover to production. Actively involved in every step, you’ll ensure the creation of high-quality, well-crafted garments in close partnership with the design team and other key departments.Based at our headquarters in St. Gallen, this dynamic and creative role involves close collaboration with internal teams and reports to the Head of Studio.Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design team in the development process.
  • Launch and follow-up of developments.
  • Launch prototypes and collection samples – together with designer.
  • Participate in fittings and create technical sheets to communicate with the pattern maker.
  • Create technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Fabric research in collaboration with the designer and fabric department.
  • Manage product data input and maintain continuous updates in the PLM system.
  • Source accessories (buttons, metalwork, zippers etc.) and creating seasonal accessories overviews / seasonal accessories library for the collection.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 2+ years of experience in tailoring and/or outerwear product development.
  • Strong team player with independent working skills.
  • Creative problem-solver with keen attention to detail and product knowledge.
  • Passion for fabrics, color, and design.
  • Organized, adaptable, and skilled at managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent English, basic German; additional languages are a plus.
