Our client is a globally recognized brand, and this position is focused exclusively on the Swiss market.The person will lead the brand PR and digital influencer strategy for Switzerland. You will use your boundless passion for storytelling to identify stories that will draw stakeholders into the brand and encourage them to engage with their products.RESPONSABILITIES

  • Balance creative, analytical, and strategic work to orchestrate our owned and earned communication approach about the brand, product launches, corporate messages and events.
  • Lead together with your team (one PR Specialist and one external support) the PR and digital influencers activities:
  • Develop and implement integrated PR strategies and plans that generate earned awareness and advocacy. Build strong media relations with both, within the industry of the brand and lifestyle media in Switzerland, and support with the direct communication with the press.
  • Lead influencer marketing strategies and execution of plans that build the business by effectively engaging key influencers through multiple marketing vehicles, primarily PR, social/digital media, and events. Create and drive talk-worthy ideas, shareable content, credentials, and more.
  • Develop deep knowledge of relevant stakeholders, create networks, and build long-term positive relationships.
  • Deliver powerful product / brand endorsements from key influencers (e.g. influencers, bloggers, media partners) and work with the communications team to integrate them into holistic marketing communications.
  • Anticipate crises and issues, lead scenario planning and contingency planning, influence business strategy as appropriate.
  • Provide communication strategies and message tracks for Mazda spokespeople. Help create communications materials for internal and external audiences (messages, press releases, digital content…), on various topics, when relevant in collaboration with European HQ.
  • Manage and maintain the PR content platform.
  • Coordinate and manage the work and capabilities of supporting agencies and external support teams.

PROFILE

  • Digital native with a deep understanding and active usage of digital platforms (from both owned and earned standpoints), and a strong passion for storytelling.
  • Strong track-record of developing influential communications campaigns that result consumer engagement and, ultimatley, sales uplift (this includes experience developing influencer and digital engagement campaigns).
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and ability to develop innovative insights, ideas and opportunities.
  • Affinity for the brand industry. Previous experience in this industry is a plus, but not a must.
  • Very good knowledge of the Swiss media landscape and media consumption of Swiss audiences. Experience with lifestyle media is required.
  • 4-8 years of experience in the area of communication, journalism or related fields.
  • Fluent in German, French and English with excellent written and oral communication skills, Italian knowledge is a plus.
  • Work location: Geneva canton or Aargau canton, flexible working arrangement incl. 2 days home-office.
