Radio Planning and Optimization Engineer, Chinese speakingOur client is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. Currently, we are looking for a Radio Planning and Optimization Engineer to be based in Zurich, for a long-term project. Here are the details:Main Responsibilities:

  • The Radio Network Planning and Optimization engineer is tasked with perform radio network planning and optimization activities in a RAN project.
  • Radio network technical issue troubleshooting and provide solution to customer.
  • Perform drive test abnormal events analysis and provide optimization proposals, include call drops, call setup failures, low voice MOS issues, data failures, data low throughput, etc.
  • Perform TOP worst cells analysis and provide optimization proposals to improve the network level, cluster level or cell level KPI.
  • Perform network performance checks include alarms, parameters, alarms, etc.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience working as radio planning and optimization engineer.
  • In depth knowledge LTE and NR technology, familiar with Umlaut based drive test log analysis is preferred.
  • Fluent in Chinese mandarin, good English communication skills with customer, could understand customer requirement and communicate solution to customer clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous working at Huawei Benchmark optimization project is preferred.
  • Previous experience working on Switzerland project is a plus.
