We are currently looking for a Sales Manager Hydraulics speaking German and English to join a successful company specialized in construction machines, mining and material handling equipment.Your Responsibilities :

  • In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and application-related consulting to assigned key customers in the field of axial piston machines and hydraulic components.
  • You will represent customer interests towards internal interfaces and coordinate internal activities as well as communication with the customer.
  • You will actively acquire new customers and maintain existing customer relationships, acting as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and sales negotiations.
  • You will create tailor-made offers and presentations that meet the specific requirements of customers and align with technical feasibility.
  • You will monitor market trends and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions that strengthen our market position.
  • You will assess new customers, identify their sales potential, formulate possible solutions for their inquiries, and represent our interests in negotiations.
  • You will advise and support our customers in selecting and applying hydraulic components – both for standard products and customized solutions.
  • You will identify cross-selling opportunities, structure and plan annual customer-related actions, and develop customer strategies.
  • You will document all sales activities and plan revenue and sales volume development.
  • You will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers at customer organizations and maintaining relationships with them.
  • You will work closely with the technical department and key account management to develop customized solutions, as well as with the internal sales team to ensure smooth order processing.

Your Qualifications :

  • You have a university degree in business administration or industrial engineering with relevant experience in technical product sales, ideally in the field of hydraulics or related industries.
  • You have comprehensive market knowledge in the off-highway segment as well as a good understanding of hydraulic components or drive technology and their applications (pumps, motors, valves, seals, etc.).
  • You have strong presentation and communication skills, are confident in negotiations, and excel at engaging and managing key stakeholders and customers.
  • Your personality is characterized by an optimistic mindset, openness to change, and a convincing, customer-oriented approach.
  • You demonstrate a hands-on mentality, solution-oriented thinking, and flexibility, and you are willing to travel for customer meetings and trade fairs.
  • You are fluent in German and English and have experience successfully applying your skills in an international environment.
