We are looking for a Sourcing Developer to lead the sourcing process of our last mile and logistic services in Switzerland and develop strategies for business growth:

• You enjoy the dynamic nature of the retail industry and are eager to contribute both operationally and in the Service Office, as well as experience the reality on the floor in our IKEA locations (occasional business travels).We are looking for you who bring:
• Education or background in the commercial side of the logistics sector, with a strong understanding of logistics processes (ideally including last mile services)
• Experience in collaborating and negotiating with external partners and stakeholders and therefore strong communication skills for building a business network
• Excellent knowledge in project management processes or similar tasks with end-to-end responsibilities.
• Very good analytical skills to understand the financial business impacts
• Fluency in English and German is essential, proficiency in other national languages is a plus.
Your responsibilities
As the Sourcing Developer, you will be responsible for the sourcing process of our last mile and logistic services. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Securing customer fulfilment services capacities (availability, implementation and long-term sourcing development)
• Analyzing business needs, identifying unnecessary costs and collaborating closely with relevant business partners.
• Building and maintaining relationships with service providers, negotiating terms and secure contract management, accordingly to global IKEA standards
• Continuously monitoring the supplier market to find new business opportunities, explore the innovation potential and identify risks.
• Close cooperation with stakeholders in the Service Office to ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Ensuring that the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda is included in all aspects of the business directly connected to and influenced by Strategic Sourcing.GOOD TO KNOW
