For our client, a leading company in the Pharmaceutical industry, we are currently looking for a Head of IT OT Infrastructure Operations & Engineering (Remote – English and German)Background:The mission of the Head of IT OT Infrastructure Operations & Engineering is to provide senior-level IT infrastructure management and leadership within the Global IT Infrastructure landscape.Tasks and Responsibilities:Responsible for the Global IT OT Infrastructure Operations & Engineering team who are providing the Global operations and end to end technical design and delivery services for each domain (Data Center, Network (LAN, WAN, Firewall, Voice services, Server, Storage & Backup)Responsible for setting and driving execution of the strategic agenda and roadmap of change that drives both business performance and technical progression in terms of modern technology practices, security and architecture.Member of the Global IT Infrastructure Leadership TeamOversee and monitor the services to ensure stability, integrity and business continuityEnsure all services are delivered according to agreed SLAs and business needs are metPartner with IT Leadership and other key stakeholders to shape global demand and ensure effective alignment of IT investments and business requirementsAccountable to drive continuous improvements, standardization and harmonization, to champion technical excellence, automation and simplification and to create an environment for innovation within the infrastructure systemsEnsure the consistency and maintainability of existing infrastructure environments through the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of well documented standards and procedures for the implementation of scalable technical solutionsOversee the implementation of Infrastructure Engineering related projects to ensure they are completed in accordance with project goals, time scales and costsTake accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within IT Infrastructure scopeYour Profile:

Min. Bachelor’s in IT
English and German Fluent
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience

Technical experience with VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Linux Server, Storage, and Backup.Expertise in network architecture, routing, switching and security.Knowledge of cloud networking and Software-Defined NetworkingKnowledge of security hardening and best practices.Experience working with globally distributed, cross-functional teamsManage relationships with service providers and evaluate products and services to meet the organization’s needsDemonstrated experience in communication with all levels including executive leadership, both verbally and writtenProven experience with simplification, standardization, and automation skillsDrive cultural and technological disruptionExperience building, scaling & monitoring infrastructure needed within the Infrastructure servicesStrong Leadership and team-building skillsAbility to anticipate risks and devise solutionsTechnical infrastructure knowledgeExperience in large, multi-national organizations.Das klingt nach einer spannenden Position?
