Join us and be part of a vibrant company that embraces diverse perspectives, and is committed to doing well by doing good.As part of our Application Management Team based in Baden, Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and self-directed Technical Application Manager who is looking forward to working in a dynamic team and be part of a successful and multicultural organization.Responsibilities & Deliverables:The role is client-facing, with both existing and new clients, and requires a high level of technical expertise, problem management and investigative skills, as well as excellent communication skillsResponsible for the timely completion of multiple internal and external technical projects in accordance with specifications and budgeted scopeEfficiently and accurately execute deployment and configuration activities for continued customer satisfaction/retentionEnforce corporate project standards and methodologies to minimize risksRegular reporting of project progress to the Head of ProjectsAddress issues and provide knowledge of integration between project and support teamsProblem solving of technical issues during the projectRecord and resolve internal defects and product related issues with the product teamsMaintaining up-to-date documentation of procedures and system configurationReviewing existing customer onboarding procedures and improving them as necessary to ensure effective service deliverySupport product managers and sales teams when additional expertise is requiredIdentify and mitigate project risks; escalate and resolve issues that impact project successEssential Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsOrganizational skills, self-starter, high level of self-motivation and quick thinking.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesProblem solving skills and strong technical backgroundEncourage cross-team collaborationPractical approachRequired Technical Expertise:Experience in Financial services, banks, fintech, SWIFT, ISO 20022 standardsWorking knowledge of Linux or equivalent and knowledge of scriptingWorking knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Ingres and good in writing SQL queries for Oracle and/or IngresWorking knowledge of FTP / SFTP/ WebSphere MQ integrationRequired Experience:Bachelor’s degree – Economics/Finance or equivalent experienceMore than 5 years of experience in finance-related project teams, preferably with banks or financial institutionsDedicated, client-focused professional who can successfully plan and manage assigned projectsAbility to liaise directly with clients and manage projects individuallyAbility to work with minimal supervision, independentlyProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to build working relationships with colleagues and project membersAbility to meet deadlines and work effectively and independentlyWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
