Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech.Position SummaryThe (Associate) Project Manager (PM) will be part of the Supply Chain Excellence Group, reporting into the MedTech Supply Chain Organization for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). The PM will use their project management skills, end to end thinking and supply chain knowledge to lead the overall shaping, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects. The scope of these projects will encompass a variety of topics within the customer service and distribution/transportation disciplines.First Project:Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify, and track tags attached to objects.Current State:The sterile implant surgery kit is lent to Hospitals and requires an inspection for completeness upon its return. Currently this is a highly manual and a time-consuming process, which prolongs the implant kit replenishment cycle/availability for the next surgery, impacting outbound performance.Project Objective:Deploy state of art RFID Technology to improve the Inbound, invoicing and replenishment process for Sterile loaner sets facilities in Spain, Austria & Italy. Driving these facilities toward automation and digitalization to enhance the customer experience.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesProgram / Project Portfolio Scoping, Shaping & Management: Defines project objectives (FPOs) and timelines. Identifies and recruits project team members, conducts a project kick off, creates a budget and follows associated budget approval process. Forms a Steering Committee and secures project sponsors. Re-scopes program as needed throughout the program lifecycle.Accountable for the successful delivery of multiple simultaneous projects, spanning multiple functional areas and locationsBudget Management: Tracks and reports budget vs. actual spend. Manages associated approval and reporting requirements. Updates relevant systems.Day to Day Program Management:Sets up regular team connects, prepares agendas and takes meeting minutesProvides overall project delivery management including scheduling, cost, scope management, communications, resource management, alternatives analyses, project integration, sub-team management and proactive risk managementMaintains project deliverables, milestones, and project objectivesSupports project (cross-functional) team activities to meet aligned objectives on time, within budget in a compliant and reliable manner, while driving team and individual accountabilityUtilizes project and program tracking and reporting tools, thereby ensuring appropriate, timely, and transparent visibility of status at all organizational levelsCreates synergies with other programs, monitors interdependencies and identifies the impact on other business functionsProactively identifies and escalates risks and issues as well as facilitates contingency plans and problem resolutionEnsures documentation of, and access to, key project documents, presentations, and dataKnows and follows all laws and policies that apply to one’s job, and maintains the
