The candidate will work closely with the laboratory team and partner with colleagues in DPD&D and Analytical Development (AD) to complete studies that support the implementation of manufacturing processes at the pilot plants and commercial manufacturing plants.Primary responsibilities:· Learning and Training: Familiarizing themselves with laboratory techniques, protocols, and safety procedures, often under the guidance of experienced lab technicians, scientists or mentors.· Assisting in Experiments: Supporting ongoing experiments by preparing reagents, setting up equipment, recording accurately experimental data and observations in laboratory notebooks or electronic systems ensuring traceability, conducting sampling, sample labelling and sample shipment.· Basic Data Analysis: Assisting in the analysis of data, which may involve using software tools to generate graphs, perform calculations, and summarize results.· Research support: Carrying out background research to support experimental design and read outs.· Collaboration and participation: working collaboratively with the team and other functions to contribute to the projects, attending lab meetings and team meetings present finding and engage in problem-solving.Qualifications:· Ability to maintain a clean and tidy workspace, document clearly and demonstrate strong organization and time management skills.· Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques, equipment and analytical tools.· Ability to analyze and interpret data, with basic understand of statistical methods and analysis software.· Ability to collaborate in a team setting and supporting peers is a must.· Excellent oral and written language skills in German and/or English.· Motivated and curiosity: a genuine interest in scientific research and a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques, technologies, and challenges in process development.Degree:Student of Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or a related field with previous experience in laboratory work and more than one internship completed at a company.Physical requirements/ working conditions 100% for 4M – Mid of June to Mid of October.Travel: 0-10%.#JNJEMEAInternship #JNJEMEAStudentCareers
