Head of FinanceOur client, a reputable banking institution with over many years of history, is seeking a visionary Head of Finance to lead and shape its financial landscape. - Lead and oversee Finance, Treasury, and Risk areas, driving strategic and operational improvements, ensuring alignment with the bank’s mission.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that effectively manage capital, liquidity, and asset-liability for optimal performance.
- Foster collaborative relationships with regulators, external auditors, and tax authorities to ensure compliance and enhance professional visibility.
- Initiate and lead projects aimed at enhancing financial reporting accuracy and efficiency, strengthening the bank’s financial position.
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance team, leveraging industry best practices to advance department goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business, with preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree, bringing advanced knowledge to the role.
- At least 5 years of Swiss banking experience in finance or risk-related roles, offering a deep understanding of the financial landscape and challenges.
- Strong knowledge of capital, liquidity, risk management, and asset-liability management (ALM), providing opportunities to excel in strategic initiatives.
- Familiarity with data analytics and possessing strong analytical skills to interpret and utilize financial data effectively for informed decision-making.
- Fluency in German and English is essential, with proficiency in Spanish being advantageous, allowing for seamless communication across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in interactions with regulators and board members to contribute to strategic discussions and decisions.
