Job DescriptionOur Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security.The Associate Director-Regional Category Manager, Fleet is responsible for Sourcing and Procurement, Policy and Program Design for the EMEA region. Delivery of high-quality procurement performance and capabilities is expected as part of our global procurement strategy. This role embodies a “one team” way of working within the new Global Supplier Management Group (GSMG) organization. This role can be based in other European countries upon the hiring manager’s approval.They will take an active role in the development of procurement and operational strategies and interface with key stakeholders to align the procurement/sourcing strategy with needed business requirements whether at a local, regional or global level. The candidate must have demonstrated leadership within procurement and proficiency in the strategic sourcing processes and supplier relationship management of global/regional/local suppliers. This position has the complexity of driving sourcing strategies and breakthrough business solutions that require strong stakeholder management and sponsorship.This position will ensure that Global Sourcing and Procurement fully manages and has detailed understanding of the local, regional and/or global supply market, business practices, laws, regulations and policies and will drive the application of world class procurement practices and ensure that sustainable value is created for the business and company customers.With the implementation of a Global Supplier Management Group (GSMG) Centralized Function, the Global Procurement Professional will partner closely with this new organization to deliver upon the end-to-end Sourcing Excellence Process. The Centralized Function will enable efficiencies and will specifically provide services related to the following:Sourcing and Contracting: Leverage Ariba expertise to execute all Ariba sourcing activities including Contracts, RFXs, Reverse Auctions and Bid Analysis.Data and Analytics: Perform data analysis; Develop and maintain modelling tools, operational reporting and other pre-defined analytics guides.Risk and Compliance: Use Centralized third party risk systems to execute governance and operations; Track supplier due diligence metrics; Execute third party risk assessments; Create and execute mitigation plans.The candidate is responsible for engaging with business stakeholders and aligning their business strategy with procurement objectives and global sourcing strategy. In addition, this role is responsible and accountable for coordinating internal activities across three stakeholder groups: Sourcing and Procurement Colleagues, Business Partners, and Suppliers.Responsibilities:Sourcing Management – Leads the Sourcing Management Process with high component on regulatory compliance.​Implementation: Responsible for execution of source plan, Inclusive of Region and Global initiatives.​Proactive Cost Management: Achieves cost control, cost reduction, and cost containment targets, and adds value to area of expenditure through a strong total cost orientation.​Market Knowledge and Insight: Uses thorough market knowledge and data analysis to gain critical insights that drive the selection of Sourcing Strategies and continuous improvement activities. ​Supplier Management and Conditioning: Responsible for building relationships with Regional and Local suppliers and managing supplier performance against business requirements using proven processes​Stakeholder Management and Business Sponsorship: Ensures appropriate stakeholders are identified and managed through stakeholder matrix. ​Contract Negotiation and Management: Leads and/or collaborates with the Central Functions team, sourcing activity including RFX, RFP, negotiations and contracting for Regional categories to put in place the right suppliers. Negotiates at tactical and strategic levels to develop local, regional, global company contracts.Skills & Competencies:Service Mindset.Supplier Relationship Management.Compliance Excellence.Operational Excellence.Problem Solving.Project Management.Business and Financial Acumen.Enterprise Approach.Change Execution Management.Qualifications and Experience:Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineer (or Statistical, Mathematics) or Finance (Economics or Business Administration).Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement process, Business Cases analysis, Risk Assessments, Data analytics and Planning or related experience is required.Fleet Category Management or Fleet Leasing experience.Excellent command of English both verbal and written.Excellent command of German, and Spanish, both verbal and written will be a plus.Digital and Innovation proven experiences will be a plus.Understand the basic financials and market intelligence from the of spend, in order to self-support strategic projects, and to support the Market sourcing team appropriately.Understand the Regional, Local and Global guidelines, in order to effectively negotiate, so that the Contracts with our Suppliers can be aligned with our corporate standards and the stakeholder requirements.Related experience in a global matrix organization environment.Our Sourcing team partner with the business to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services that enables the commercialization of our medicines, vaccines and Animal Health products.
