Job Category: Relationship ManagerJob Description:Great opportunity for an experienced Vice President or Executive Director to join our growing Switzerland Mid-Cap coverage teamJob Summary:As an experienced Vice President/Executive Director in the Switzerland Mid-Cap team, you will be responsible for supporting the relationships with public and private companies with revenues of $500 million and above. This group provides traditional corporate banking products as well as investment banking products to its clients. Our business partners include product specialists from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Treasury Services, Corporate Derivatives and Private Banking.J.P. Morgan’s Global Corporate Banking business serves large corporate, financial institution and public sector clients around the world. We help clients achieve their long-term strategic goals through financing, liquidity, payments, risk management and investment banking solutions. With a global reach, local expertise and deep sector knowledge, we’re able to deliver end-to-end solutions to help our clients in more than 100 markets efficiently run their businesses and fuel their growth.Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue and close sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services
  • Manage complex, multi-product client relationships as the primary relationship manager
  • Coordinate the sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners
  • Proactively cover clients and prospects; represent Global Corporate Banking Mid-Cap in the local banking and business communities and develop a network of referral sources
  • Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation and documentation of credit requests
  • Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services and credit opportunities
  • Strictly comply with all regulatory and JPMC rules, policies, and procedures

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Prior corporate banking and/or investment banking experience, ideally in a coverage role, in the Swiss market
  • Candidate must be a top individual contributor, with a strong performance track record
  • Demonstrates outstanding ability to manage and influence stakeholder relationships at all levels, with particular focus at the senior management level
  • Relevant execution experience of Commercial Banking / Investment Banking / Capital markets products in a leadership capacity
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter who is able to work independently and part of a larger team.
  • Ability to re-adjust under high pressure and challenging situations
  • Demonstrates exceptional presentation skills and strong client capabilities
  • Proven ability to exercise independent and pro-active leadership
  • Proven credit, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify business trends and to take a business-oriented approach
  • Demonstrates ability to juggle and execute a high volume of competing priorities within strict deadlines
  • Enthusiasm to take on new and challenging tasks in dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English, German and/or French
