We deliver the latest insights and real-world evidence to inform the best decisions for patients and their care-givers, to ensure the medicines we develop continue to provide meaningful outcomes.Beyond medicines, we support our stakeholder communities to drive initiatives that improve awareness, education, access and ultimately standards of care.The Opportunity:As Brand Manager, this position is key for the success of launching a product in a new therapeutic area, Ophthalmology, for Astellas Switzerland. Therefore, this position needs strong project management and launch skills as well as being hands-on, driving a successful launch with the cross-functional team i.e., but not limited to the Medical Department. This position leads all brand management aspects of the launch and the period post-launch in strong collaboration with the cross-functional brand team.Hybrid Working:At Astellas we recognise the importance of balancing your work and home life. This role offers a remote working solution so you can optimise the most productive work environment for you to succeed and deliver.Key Responsibilites:
- Lead the local launch of a product in a new therapeutic area; adapt and execute the brand plan using global materials tailored to the local market.
- Co-chair the local brand team, collaborate with medical, field force and access teams; ensure cross-functional strategy alignment and issue resolution.
- Engage with key external experts (KEEs), develop brand KPIs with leadership and ensure local performance and compliance.
- Gather local market insights, opportunities, risks and needs; support brand forecasting, ensure affiliate training, compliance with regulations.
- Ensure alignment and optimal usage of all marketing channels with the brand and therapeutic strategy.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing locally adapted brand strategies that deliver exceptional results within budget.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end project management and experience in working with multiple stakeholders from different levels of a global organization.
- Background in pharma sales organizations or similar environments, with a focus on product launches and achieving revenue growth.
- Experience in budget preparation, forecasting and execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (German and English/French).
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Knowledge in the Ophthalmology therapeutic area preferred.
Education/Qualifications:
- MS Degree or equivalent.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full-time role.
- Location: Wallisellen, Switzerland.
- Occasional travel within the country is needed.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per week in our office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
