Join our team.To reinforce the marketing team at Swatch Headquarters in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, we are currently searching for a:TEAM LEADER SOCIAL MEDIA 100%Job descriptionMain responsibilities will include:
- Lead and shape Swatch’s global social media strategy, aligning it with the brand’s digital marketing goals and long-term vision.
- Manage and mentor the social media team, fostering a culture of creativity, agility, and collaboration.
- Oversee Swatch’s organic presence across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, WeChat, Weibo, and more.
- Develop and own content strategies, working closely with internal teams to deliver engaging, on-brand content across channels.
- Plan and maintain a global social media editorial calendar, coordinating cross-functional inputs to ensure timely and impactful storytelling.
- Create and lead global campaign concepts and activations that engage our communities and elevate brand visibility.
- Define and maintain Swatch’s tone of voice across all social media touchpoints, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
- Supervise daily operations, from sourcing content and managing approvals to executing campaigns and tracking performance.
- Collaborate with international subsidiaries and agents, providing guidance, best practices, and support for localized content execution.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and social media partners, ensuring delivery quality and strategic alignment.
- Monitor online conversations using social listening tools, identifying trends, community feedback, and emerging opportunities.
- Partner with the broader digital marketing team to amplify reach through paid strategies and cross-channel integration.
- Oversee the social media budget, including planning, reporting, and resource allocation.
- Team leading and supervision of a team of 3 people
ProfileProfile:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, including strategic and creative responsibilities.
- 2+ years of leadership experience, with proven success managing and developing a team.
- A strong blend of creative, strategic, and analytical thinking–you know what works, why it works, and how to scale it.
- Excellent content judgment, with a clear understanding of what makes content relevant, brand-aligned, and engaging per platform.
- A genuine passion for digital storytelling, community engagement, and innovation.
- Deep understanding of the evolving social media landscape, platforms, tools, and trends.
- Experience using social media management and listening tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Brandwatch).
- High attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and stakeholders.
