Job Description

Payroll is looking for an additional team member! Are you the one?You would be working in Zurich in an international payroll team that runs the payroll for various European countries.About the RoleYou will be responsible for keeping our system landscape up to date regarding international taxation and will coordinate the topic for our various employee groups.Other main tasks include:

  • General payroll tasks including all year end duties, for Switzerland and various European countries
  • Processing social insurances in payroll including reporting
  • Processing share plans in payroll
  • Conduct plausibility and data quality checks before handing data to the external provider, adjust data where necessary
  • Review calculated results received from the provider (monthly and yearly)
  • Ensure correct delivery of various monthly files from the payroll provider to third parties
  • Produce statistics and reports on demand for external and internal customers (Finance, Pension Fund, Health Insurer, AHV etc.)
  • Specify business requirements for systems and interfaces, conduct testing and support HR Operations and IT counterparts throughout the change management processes
  • Ensure proper handling of special cases
  • Continuously adapt, improve and document processes to ensure legal and internal compliance
  • Shadow and split payroll for international assignees and international local transferees

About the TeamOur daily business includes all payment related topics concerning compensation and benefits. In today’s international environment one of your focus areas is the taxation of various populations such as local employees, international transferees and -assignees, as well for various countries. In this set-up you solve complex business cases in close cooperation with our external payroll provider, Pension Fund, HR, Tax- and International Mobility Team.About YouWith your strong analytical skills and can-do attitude, you enjoy collaborating with the parties involved to find adequate solutions, using your excellent judgement and specialist knowhow. You are precise and well organized which enables you to juggle different priorities and meet deadlines.Technical skills and education:

  • Commercial or technical education
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in the area of Payroll in an international environment
  • Further education in Social Security, International Assignment, and/or HR-Outsourcing is a plus
  • Profound knowledge of Swiss social security, labor law, local tax and international double taxation agreements
  • Knowledge of various European social security, labor law, local tax and international double taxation agreements is an asset
  • Experienced SAP Payroll Modul-user
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Fluent in German and English (mandatory) and one additional European Language, i.e. French, Spanish, Italian and/or Danish

We are looking forward to your application!For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between CHF 94’000 and CHF 142,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: ​

  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
