Job Description
Guide Engineering, AI/ML, DevOps, Cyber-security, Infrastructure and Full-stack teams. You will set the technical direction, guarantee security and reliability, and steer a startup from beta launch to global scale. - Define, own, and communicate the long-term technology roadmap, including the strategic development and evolution of a SaaS platform, aligned with product and business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow cross-functional teams covering Engineering (front-end, back-end, databases), AI/ML, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure.
- Design and oversee a secure, scalable architecture for multi-tenant AI services, microservices, and human-in-the-loop workflows, ensuring the robust foundation for a global SaaS offering.
- Establish and refine CI/CD, observability, and incident-response processes to ensure high availability and rapid delivery.
- Oversee cyber-security best practices, conduct risk assessments, and support ISO 27001 / SOC2 certifications.
- Oversee database strategy (relational and NoSQL) to ensure performance, compliance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Legal, Product, and Operations to meet jurisdiction-specific regulations and professional rules.
- Report progress, metrics, and risks to the executive team and board.
Profil du candidatRequirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years in senior engineering roles, including 5 + years leading multi-disciplinary technology teams.
- Demonstrated success delivering AI/ML products at scale in regulated industries (LegalTech, FinTech, HealthTech, etc.); background in or exposure to the legal sector is a strong plus.
- Proven expertise with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.
- Solid grounding in relational and NoSQL database design, optimisation and operations.
- Strong understanding of data-protection legislation (GDPR, Swiss FADP) and relevant professional-ethics rules.
- Language: Fluent in English (mandatory); French preferred.
Skills
- A clear understanding of Python and JavaScript.
- Practical experience with LLM frameworks and tools ( LangChain, CrewAI, RAG pipelines).
- Mastery of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and observability stacks.
- Database-performance tuning, backup/restore strategies and data-migration planning.
- Security best practice: encryption-at-rest/in-transit, no-trust networking, SAST/DAST, IAM and secrets management.
- Agile leadership, stakeholder management and budgeting.
