Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join the Procurement Team of a renowned international organization as a Procurement Professional !In this role, you will support key procurement activities and contribute directly to the organization’s success.ResponsibilitiesThe procurement professional will provide guidance and advice to internal clients and stakeholders throughout all phases of the procurement cycle, including but not limited to:
- Purchase Requisition analysis and Purchase Order sourcing
- Contract lifecycle management
Vendor performance managementThe procurement professional will also:
- Coordinate with technical specialists on non-standard or complex specifications to ensure technical feasibility and recommend improvements for future procurement activities
- Develop appropriate procurement strategies through thorough analysis
- Prepare complex tenders in the organization’s eSourcing platform and draft contracts for the procurement of non-routine and technologically advanced projects, in line with internal rules and procedures
- Respond to queries during the solicitation process
- Support the migration of procurement-related documentation into the new document repository, as needed
Profile
- Over 6 of experience in a procurement role , including 3–5 years in public procurement within governmental bodies or international organizations
- University degree, preferably in procurement, supply chain or a related field (or at least five years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills , with an excellent command of English and a good working knowledge of French (especially for drafting routine correspondence)
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, negotiation and contract management abilities
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to deliver tailored solutions with a high level of client orientation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a high degree of flexibility and initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and ERP systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft
- Experience working with eSourcing platforms
