Location: ZurichWork Pattern Percentage: 80-100%Help our clients successfully manage global challengesOur Swiss market-leading Deal Transformation and Post-Merger Integration Team advises Swiss Corporate and mid-market clients to generate and create value from their Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Carve-outs. With a dedicated team of experts, we deliver integration and separation advisory services, leading complex engagements with our clients, and deploying deep functional expertise in finance, human resources, commercial, supply chain, and technology. At Deloitte, we support our clients on end-to-end M&A advisory, working closely with our colleagues from transaction services, valuations, and corporate finance. As part of the Strategy, Risk and Transactions Business Line, we further collaborate with our Strategy, Sustainability, Regulatory and Forensics and Technology peers to ensure a seamless and value-driven approach to transactions.How you will make an impact
- Integration and separation projects delivery: bring a forward-looking approach and tailored methodologies to client situations, to deliver complex M&A separations and integrations.
- M&A value creation: perform operational and financial analysis to support the assessment of merger synergies, the impact and complexities of carve-outs, and the stand-alone performance improvement potential of buyouts and corporate divestments.
- Exceptional client service: advise clients across Deloitte’s offerings, building and maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring the engagement teams deliver exceptional client service, adhering to quality and robust methodology.
- Project scope and delivery: define, plan, resource, and execute project scope; manage expectations and timelines with clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Team development: create a working environment that encourages collaboration, innovation and excellence in project execution.
- Analytical and AI solutions: provide strategic insights, advice and deploy advanced analytical and AI solutions.
Who we are looking for
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter attitude, highly motivated to lead and grow, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on strategic decision-making and attention to detail, alongside a proven ability to simplify complex concepts, create executive-level narratives, and synthesise value effectively.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from top-tier universities with exceptional academic marks.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant M&A experience in consulting or industry roles, with experience in one of the main Swiss industries, i.e., financial services, life sciences, consumer, and/or industrials.
- Strong acumen for project and stakeholder management, with high-quality skills in Excel, PowerPoint and executive storytelling.
- Aptitude with AI technologies and a keen interest in embedding AI solutions into our offerings to enhance client outcomes and drive innovation.
- Fluent in English, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience working within an international community. Language proficiency in German or French is desired.
