This role offers the chance to propose technical solutions for various electrical machines, collaborate with global simulation teams, and contribute to technical standards. You’ll design and execute experimental campaigns, support factories with technical challenges, and engage in CFD simulations of cooling systems. We value safety, integrity, and a supportive work environment.How you’ll make an impactDevelop, update, and refine detailed documentation and specifications for thermal solutions on the CDSe platform, tailored to stakeholder needsProvide expert support, manage technical tickets, and deliver training sessions. Hold regular meetings with manufacturing teams to understand and address their needsWork with the Technology Team to develop technical standards. Collaborate with developers to define requirements and support implementationLead R&D projects to explore new thermal technologies. Conduct experiments, analyze data, and apply findings to improve energy efficiencyOversee testing and validation of thermal systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirementsManage multiple thermal engineering projects from start to finish. Develop project plans, set milestones, and monitor progressCoordinate with product design, manufacturing, and field service teams to integrate thermal solutionsMentor junior engineers and new team members by fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence, while actively staying informed about the latest developments in thermal engineering and renewable energy technologies to represent the company at key industry conferences and eventsYour backgroundDegree in Engineering, with a strong foundation in thermal dynamics and renewable energy technologiesA relevant experience, preferably in Power Generation and Transmission (PGTR), with a deep understanding of the thermal behavior of transformers and other energy systemsProficiency in programming languages such as Matlab, C#, Python, and Netlist.
