We are looking to enhance our IDS Shared Services team to support the growth of our trading activities (T&S and TGP), and therefore expand new Business applications.
The IDS Shared Services team is part of the Information and Digital Systems (IDS) department, which is a mutualized function for trading activities.
Reporting to the Team Leader Shared services, you will be participating in the international deployment and maintenance across three geographic sites and oversee the coordination of a team of development service providers for three branches with multiple locations.You will evolve in a fast-paced and international environment, and you will have the chance to work with passionate people about what they do and who are never short in ideas.What you will doActivitiesThe business analyst is at the interface between the users and the software development teams. He ensures the quality and the full adequacy of the software with the business requirements and proprieties, and provides support to the business.
As our Business Analyst Finance, you will be given the following responsibilities:Support

  • Provide support and ensure the interface between the users and the development teams. Understand why errors occur, find ways to work around them until they are corrected. Understand business operations and propose adequate evolution to properly support them.

Tests

  • Design and execute functional, non-regression and user acceptance testing of the new software releases
  • Ensure compliance of the delivered software with the users› specifications and according to the predefined planning.

Project Management

  • Based on business process definition, define and documents the user requirements for the future software releases.
  • Ensure that software and test documentation is up to date and accurate.
  • Propose tasks planning and commit to following it.
  • Promote the new features and functionalities and participate to the Change Management.
  • Ensure the consistency of the business requirements with the overall ETRM system.

Candidate ProfileYour Profile

  • You are a Master Degree holder (in IT, Finance or equivalent). A master’s degree from an IT engineering school can be a huge asset for this position, as it demonstrates a strong foundation in technical knowledge and specialized skills that are essential for success in this role
  • You have 2+ year of experience in Finance, Credit, ERP implementation, strong interest in IT technologies, with experience of software development in complex environment, and a first experience of business analysis in an international environment
  • A previous experience in the financial or commodity sector is a plus
  • You have a good knowledge of modelling tools and agile methodology
  • You have strong communication skills and teamwork spirit,
  • You are curious, keen to learn in a challenging environment and you are recognised for your ability to analyse.
  • You have strong communications skills in English and French
